After due consultation with members and leaders of our party, we members of the executive of ward 5 have jointly agreed to place Bar. J.B Agbogun on indefinite suspension as a member of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
A statement issued by the party spokesman on Monday disclosed Under his leadership, ward 5 has not been carried along with the scheme of party activities.
His leadership has been autocratic and not democratic and his high-handedness which its said is bringing the party to disrepute.
We are no longer comfortable with this. Apart from these, he has been involved in anti-party activities capable of undermining the fortunes of the party at the ward level. On this basis, a disciplinary committee was set up to further look into the accusations of his nefarious activities if there would be further punishment against him in terms of expulsion from the party.
Attached is the letter of suspension and the list of the exco members that signed and were there present.
