APC Ajaokuta Federal Constituency Inaugurates Ward Leaders, Unit Canvassers for 2023 Election
The APC Unity Forum has Inaugurated Ward Leaders/ Polling Unit canvassers of All progressives Congress (APC) in readiness for the 2023 Election in the Ajaokuta local government area, with a charge to ensure that the party achieve victory for all its candidates.
The Inauguration was performed by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Unity Forum Ganja, Mr Attai Ohiemi, who charged the newly Inaugurated members to hit the ground running.
While charging the various Ward leaders and canvassers from the Ajaokuta local government area, in an event held in the Ganaja community, described the forthcoming election as a must-win, particularly with the outstanding performances and credentials of all the APC Candidates.
The Chairman charged the Ward leaders and canvassers to go all out and work for the victory of the party’s candidates in the 2023 General Election, starting from the Presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the Senatorial District candidate for Kogi Central, Engr. Abubakar Ohere, the House of Representatives candidate of the APC for the Ajaokuta federal constituency Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi as well as the Ajaokuta State constituency candidate of the APC Hon. Jibril Abu.

The Chairman expressed optimism that all the candidates are sellable and marketable and described the victory of the APC in the coming election as one that would help reposition the country, Senatorial District, and Federal and State Constituencies.
The Chairman notes with emphasis the important place of Geregu Ward in the politics of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, said with 55% of the polling units and 60% of the voting population, makes the Inauguration of the leaders and canvassers very vital.

He charged them to abide by the new electoral law and ensure that their people are conversant with the law to avoid any setback, said the essence of the selection of the leaders and canvassers is to bring the polling units closer to the grassroots and electorates reason why they must deliver on the mandate.
The Chairman charged them to reach out to people of different shades of opinion, pointing out that the only way to achieve victory is to accommodate all persons.
While urging them to see the task as achievable given the intimidating credentials of the APC Candidates, said they all have what it takes to make the APC victorious.
Aside from the Inauguration, the Forum equally used the medium for voter sensitization on the new Electoral guidelines, with members urged to educate the electorates on the latest developments.
In a presentation on the history of election in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency delivered by Hon. Mohammed Ismaila Umar disclosed that election in the past, the Constituency has always been rotational in election arrangements, not about tribe and religion.
Similarly, in a presentation by Hon. Mohammed Idris Omale in countering misinformation about APC and its candidates, described the candidates as people of integrity, having made their marks, and described the APC as a party that has moved the country to a level of development.
Similarly, Mr Chris in his presentation of the profile and credentials of the candidates expressed optimism that their outstanding performances have already sent fears into the camp of the opposition, and warned against complacency.
