Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, has expressed shock over the kidnap and murder of Nasarawa state Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Philip Tatari Shekwo.
In a condolence message to immediate family of the deceased, the people of Toto local government, Governor Abdullahi Sule, the APC and the entire people of Nasarawa state, Alhaji Maikaya, said the nation has lost a very brilliant and intelligent intellectual, whose life was geared towards making friends.
He describes the slain party Chairman as honest person, very dedicated to duty, selfless who pursued agenda with vigour without fear or favour as exhibited when he was Administrator of Toto Local government council and Commissioner for Commerce and Industrialist in Nasarawa state.
His political and Leadership acumen has made his party stronger winning elections in the state.
Alhaji Maikaya prayed that Almighty God give him eternal rest and grant the family, the government of Nasarawa state, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Alhaji Maikaya, who is the Ciroman Toto and acting Chairman Toto Development Association, while condemning the dastardly act by the cowards and criminals, urged the Security agencies to fish out perpetrator of such heinous act.
Maikaya is also a former Governorship aspirant on the platform of APC due for 2019 elections in the State.
