A serving Vice-Chairman Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Chief Aishat Ekele Blessing, has congratulated former Nasarawa State Governor and Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, His Excellency, Alhaji Chief Dr. (Senator) Abdullahi Adamu on his emergence as the new national chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC.
Mrs Ekele, who was a former gubernatorial aspirant of APC in Kogi State and one time House of representatives aspirant respectively advised the new APC chairman to use his new office to promote unity and fair play within the party.
She described Senator Adamu emergence as a Chairman of the party as most welcome and urged him to build on internal democracy within the party’s fold.
“I want to congratulate the elected National Chairman of our great party, APC, other elected officials, leaders of the party, and the chairman of the security committee, Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his workaholic team members, the delegates and every member of our great party on the successful conclusion of the elective convention held on March 26th, 2023 in Abuja.
“My prayers that, the almighty God, shall direct the steps of the Chairman and the other elected officials, in their avowed determination to enthrone internal democracy and repositioning of the party towards achieving the desired overwhelming victory in the 2023 general election.’’
In her congratulatory message Mrs Ekele urged Nigerians both at home and diaspora to joined hands with the young Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to consolidate on the gains for President Muhammadu Buhari.
