Following the outcome of the recently concluded national convention of the governing political party in Nigeria, the newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, on Monday, received a high powered delegation of party chieftains, who visited him at his Abuja residence.
The delegation, according to sources, was at Adamu’s residence to rejoice with him on successful emergence as National Chairman of the APC during the just concluded convention held on 26th March, 2023 at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, (OON) the ebullient Honorable Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, and Doyen of Abia Rejoice was among the high powered delegation welcomed by Senator Abdullahi Adamu in Abuja.
Recall that Ogah had earlier in a statement on Sunday, congratulated ex-Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, on his emergence as National Chairman of the APC at the just concluded party’s national convention on Saturday.
He also congratulated all other winners which includes, Chief Emma Enukwu, as Deputy National Chairman South, Senator Abubakar kyari, as Deputy National Chairman, Chairman, North, and Senator Iyiola Omisore as national Secretary; and most importantly all Abia candidates that emerged respectively
On their meritorious emergence during the concluded convention of the APC.
Ogah thanked all Abia APC leaders for coming out en’masse to support the successful conduct of the national convention, and as well as, the party’s convention electoral committee, the leaders and delegates across Nigeria on the peaceful and rancour-free conduct of the execrise.
He described the newly elected national officers, as patriotic Nigerians and dedicated party leaders, who would work in consolidating on the tremendous strides achieved by the party on its electoral growth and development, as governing party in Nigeria.
Ogah, who is also the Abia leader of the party, posited that the just concluded national convention reflected to the wish of majority of the party’s delegates, and best democratic practices, wherein party’s delegates unanimously and freely spoke in one voice.
