A senatorial aspirant for Nasarawa west senatorial district in the just concluded primaries, Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, has called on his supporters to remain calm, saying he has confident that court will surely do justice in declaring him as the winner of Nasarawa west senatorial primaries held on June, 4, 2022.

Our correspondent had reported that Barrister Magaji, had filed a petition before the APC appeal panel, alleging irregularities over the June 4, APC senatorial primaries, in which Architect Shehu Tukur was declared winner of the primaries.

Addressing APC stakeholders and supporters after he was received in a rousing welcome at his home town, Toto local government of Nasarawa state on Saturday, Barrister Magaji, recalled how doctored delegates list of Nasarawa and Keffi local government area were doctored to favor his opponent.

“But this is not the time for us to keep lamenting, let’s remain calm and continue praying. As I am already in court and justice shall prevail at the end of the God’s willing,” he said.

According to him, APC is a party that is characterized by fairness and justice, saying he optimistic that justice will be served at the end of the day.

“We are not challenging anybody but the process and we shall ensure that the right thing must be done through legal means,” he added.

Our correspondent, however, report both young, old and sundry matched in droves to the private residence of Barrister Magaji to exchange pleasantries with him amidst musical interlude from some youth and women groups in the area.

Barrister Magaji, was earlier received at Toto central primary school by thousand of his supporters that comprised of youths and women, alongside cultural display to welcome him back home.

It was further observed that on arrival of the APC chieftain. Barrister Magaji, into Toto town on convoy of motorcades, some residents seated in from rushed to the road side to have a glimpsed of him as he also stood up through the open roof of Jeep waving his two hands to acknowledge cheers from his supporters and well wishers.

Magaji, stopped over at the palace of Ona of Oyge, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Mohammed AZAKI, where he received the monarch’s blessing before proceeding.
