Member Representing Nasarawa Central at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Ismail Suleiman Danbaba has been Re-elected at the APC Primary Election to go for second term in office.

Danbaba won the election in an exercise conducted at the State party secretariat in Lafia Sunday.

The Returning Officer of the election Mustapha Iliyasu announced Ismail Danbaba winner after gotten 25 votes to defeat his opponent Hajiya Hajara Danyaro who got zero vote.

“By the powers vested on me as the Returning Officer of APC Primary Election for Nasarawa Central State Constituency I Mustapha Iliyasu hereby declared the winner as Ismail Suleiman Danbaba.

” Danbaba got 25 votes all together while Hajara Danyaro got zero vote” He said.

It was reported that the election was conducted peacefully by party officials and monitored by INEC staff and security agents.

Speaking in an interview with Newsmen at the venue of the exercise, the winner Hon. Ismail Suleiman Danbaba thanked delegates and his people for given him another opportunity to serve them at the State Legislature promising not to disappoint their trust just as he called on his opponent to join hand with him to develop Nasarawa Central Constituency.
