Member Representing Toto /Gadabuke at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa has been re-elected to fly the flag of APC in his constituency.

Shafa emerged as the winner today during the primary election of APC that took place at the Toto LG Secretariat.

Announcing the results the APC returning officer for the primary election Sanusi Muhammed Babansoro said, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa having scored 29 votes is returned elected.

“Out of the 30 Delegates that are supposed to participate in this election we have successfully screened 29 as one Abubakar Aliyu Sani from Gwargwada ward was absent.

“In the same vain the second aspirant Mohammed Garba Isimbabi was not present.

“All the 29 Delegates have voted for Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa and by the power vested on me as the returning officer of this election I hereby declare Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa is the winner.”

With this victory Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa who is seeking re-election for a second term will now be the APC candidate for Toto /Gadabuke Constituency.
