Appeal Court Verdict: Williams rejoice with Ododo, says he earned Kogi people’s trust, confidence
Ameh Williams, is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Deputy Coordinator Better Kogi Initiative (BKI), and a former Chairmanship Aspirant in Olamaboro Local Government Area under the platform of the APC.

Williams who hailed Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, and Comr Joel Oyibo, the Kogi State APC Governorship flagbearer on their victory at the court of appeal.
Global Times Nigeria recall, the court of appeal sitting in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory, dismissed an appeal filed by Senator Smart Adeyemi, an Aspirant in the APC Governorship primary, challenging Ododo’s victory in the April 2023 Kogi governorship primary election.
In his congratulatory message issued and made available to Global Times Nigeria, Williams said the judgement delivered by the court of appeal judgment has put to rest any form of doubt and distraction within the party members and noted that judiciary remains the last hope for a common man.
“By this judgement, the appellate court clearly shows that Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comr Joel Oyibo are the Governor/Deputy Governorship candidates who the party members elected to fly the APC ticket and consequently win by God grace to pilot the affairs of the state for the next four years.
“The confidence the people of Kogi State repose in Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello lead administration has been well earned and should be wholly respected.
“It is time to now place partisan politics within the party on the shelf for the moment so that those former Governorship contestants can join hands as much as possible for the victory of the party in the November 11th poll in Kogi State.

“Once again, I rejoice with Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, Comr Joel Oyibo, the leadership of the APC, our teeming APC members in Kogi and, indeed, the good people of the state over this court victory.”
