The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the February 12, 2022 chairmanship election in Gwagwalada area council, Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri, has congratulated the newly inaugurated mandate secretary for transportation, Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, in which he described the appointment as a well-deserved one.
Hon Giri, while speaking with our correspondent, when he led some APC stalwarts and supporters to rejoice with him at his Dobi community in the council, on Wednesday, said the appointment is not for only him alone but the good people of the FCT.

He said the FCT minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, has made the best choice and decision to appoint Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, as mandate secretary, saying the newly appointed mandate secretary is a generous man that always has compassion for the people irrespective of the tribe, religion, political party or ethnic affiliation.

“I believe as a resident of the FCT, you can also attest to the fact that Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, the leader of the APC in FCT is a man of the masses that always compassion for his people irrespective of your tribal, religious, or party you may belong. He is a man that always treats and accommodates everyone that comes across his way,” he said.
He, however, commended the FCT minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, for appointing Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi as mandate secretary from the territory, while he expressed confidence that the new mandate secretary will deliver in his new assigned office.
“I’m very confident that our APC leader, Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi, will surely deliver in his assigned new office as secretary for transportation because his achievements and legacies when he was council chairmen and house representatives member are still speaking for me, ” he said.
The APC chairmanship, while commending the FCT APC state chairman, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, for his untiring efforts towards making the party wax stronger in the FCT, solicited for the support and cooperation of all FCT stakeholders, youth and women to rally around and support the newly appointed mandate secretary to enable him to succeed in his new assignment.
