As Tashas receives accolades for promoting, encouraging peace, unity and development.

The Executive Chairman Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, member representing Toto/Gadabuke state constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, Nasrawa State Commissioner for Health, Hon. Ahmed Baba Yahaya, Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Haruna Abubakar Kwanakis, Speaker Toto LG legislative arm, Rt. Hon. Abdul-Hameed Ayizi Mazi, APC Chairman Toto LG, Alhaji Shuaibu were among top VIPs who attended the Aquatic final competition.

The grand finale of the grassroot football tournament between Airtel FC and Aitel FC, held on Saturday at the Central primary school playing ground Tudu-Uku, Gadabuke District, Toto LGC.
The Chairman who officially declared the competition open said football unite the people, encourage togetherness noting that with existing peace in Toto LG there is need to always organised football to enhance wellbeing of citizenry.
He said arrangement are in top gear to make the next competition elaborate one where Toto LG populace will come together to celebrate.

He said his administration is a youth friendly one, adding that he has already order for new building and rehabilitation of some dilapidated facilities such as youth centres across the 3 districts to encourage youth activities.
The Chairman who was flanked by his wife and chairperson of the council Mrs. Fatima Abdullahi Tashas expressed gratitude to the youths for supporting his administration.

In a press released issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Media and Communications said first half of the March played at draw 0-0 despite attempt by both teams to secure victory.
Few minutes into the second half Aitel scored its first goal against Airtel.
The statement said 26 minutes after the first goal, Airtel scored another goal beaten Aitel with 2-0 to nil.
Both goals were scored in second half, with Airtel player Salim Jibrin goes home as the Man of the Match award, Kabiru Jarumi win highest goal scorer, Samson Ibrahim as best keeper.

In a separate remarks, State Commissioner for health, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya commended Toto LGC Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas for his initiative, development aim at promoting and sustaining peace, unity especially amongst the youth.
The commissioner described Tashas as a very courageous, creative administrator working tirelessly for the development of Toto LGC.
On his part, member representing Toto/Gadabuke state constituency, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa described Hon. Tashas as a great grassroot political icon that come to change the narrative.
The lawmaker sought the support of Toto citizenry irrespective of religion, tribe and political affiliation to back the council boss programs and policies, noting that Hon. Tashas meant business having gone as this far in provision of social amenities.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Kwanakis described his boss and benefactor as the best thing that had has happened to Toto since assumption of office.
Kwanakis urged residents of Gadabuke districts and by extension to support APC so that more development will be provided.
Some players and officials expressed delight with honoured done them by the Executive Chairman of Toto LGC, pledging total support and loyalty to the council administration.
The event witnessed presentation of cups to 1st position by Chairman of Toto LGC, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, 2nd position presented by State commissioner for health, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya and while 3rd position presented by chairperson of the council, Hajiya Fatima Abdullahi Tashas.
The occasion was also attended by APC excos from ward to LG levels and supporters from the area.
