As People’s Prof, Comrade Daniel Isah Clocks Additional Year.
On Tuesday 4th October 2022, the entire social and conventional media went agog on the commemoration of the birthday of a political icon, community leader and philanthropist, Honorable (Prof), Comrade Daniel Isah, the national coordinator, Tinubu Support Group TSG worldwide, a think tank group for the actualization of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu BAT, as Nigeria’s President for 2023.
Before then, Hon Daniel Isah has served strategically both at the grassroots, state and now at the national level to promote not only the political culture of the people of Kogi state but Nigeria at large.
At one time or the other, a staunch grassroot mobiliser for a governorship candidate from Kogi east under the unknown platform that was later made popular, through his political prowess and wisdom, though, the contest was won and lost in 2012.
The politics of 2012 was another opportunity for a dogged fighter to restrategise towards tackling subsequent transition programs in Kogi state tilting in his favour, no doubt that was what happened in 2016.
After three consecutive times of trying to return to power in Kogi state, Former Kogi Governor, Prince Abubakar Audu who later won and died before the end of the 2012 governorship election, worked with Daniel Isah as the Director General, a campaign organization, that saw the APC cruised to victory in the election before the unfortunate incidence.
He retired into playing politics at the federal level and by extension been a strong loyalist to the Tinubu camp over the years, until the time for another round of the election in Kogi in 2019.
Comrade Daniel Isah stirred vigorously and vociferously the ship of a retired Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Jibrin Oyibe Usman that was a threat even to the ruling APC government in Kogi state, only to devise a soft landing of disqualification that would have been a major defeat to a sitting ruling party governor in Kogi state, the first in Nigeria.
Conversant with the political manoeuvre and gimmicks, he retired to his cocoon of pro-Tinubu Support Group and organisation, that worked round the clock to defeat heavy weights that appeared in the last APC primary election, the most decent and transparent party primaries in Nigeria.

With Comrade Daniel Isah as Tinubu’s ally and ardent supporter and follower, BAT defeated both serving and former governors, serving and former ministers, and serving and former senators to ruffle his way into winning APC primaries held early in the year.
As preparations for the 2023 general elections draw nearer, the data available portrayed the people’s comrade as not a loser anytime, any day, anywhere in the political firmament of Nigeria, but had his eyes gazed on cornering victory for BAT.
With his legendary exposure both from the grassroots, state and now the federal level, it is obvious that his final crown is campaigning vigorously for Tinubu /Shetttimas success in the forthcoming general elections, as his antecedents envisaged victory for BAT unarguably.
With unique performances and achievements in all his endeavours, Comrade Daniel Isah who digressed from the professional medical line to join academic and later politics, no doubt had excelled greatly in all areas and all ramifications.
As you mark this year’s birthday, 2022, with fanfare and fanfare, I hope that this will mark your elevation to the next and envisaged level of your life’s sojourn.
