The Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Hon.Roland Osadebamwen Asoro has congratulated the Governor of Edo State, Mr.Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu on their second term inauguration.
Hon. Asoro said Governor Obaseki has brought a new definition to good governance in Edo State since his assumption of office.
The Deputy Speaker said Edo could not have been luckier to have a person of Godwin Obaseki’s standing as Governor.
In a congratulatory message released to newsman in Benin City, Hon.Asoro said,”In just a four year, your feats in all facets in the lives of Edo people have shown that we made the wise choice in electing you as the Governor of the State for second term.”
“In the last four years, your determination to reposition our dear State and make it a reference point can be seen through a transformed education system, from housing to health care, conducive environment for investors who have seen the State as a haven, infrastructural development, mechanised agriculture and many more.”
“The social well-being of Edo people has always been a priority, which was the reason behind the quality and innovative leadership you provide to address the raging Covid-19 pandemic in the State.
“As you assumed office, for another four years, I strongly believe that this oath of Office will open pages of good governance and reformation for the people of the State. I pray that Almighty God will sustain your good vision in Making Edo Great Again.”
