The son of Attah Igala, Prince Ocholi Idakwo, has announced the passage of his father, His Rayal Majesty, Dr Idakwo Michael Ame Oboni II.
He made the announcement Saturday morning at the palace while addressing newsmen
He said the Attahq joined the ancestors on the 27 of August 2020.
He thanked the people for their support and prayers for the family at this trying period.
Prince Ocholi described his father as a man of action and one who was passionate about upholding the rich culture of Igala.
This formal announcement has put to rest the media speculations about the demise of the first class traditional ruler in Kogi state.
Meanwhile, sympathisers from far and near have continued to troop into the palace to register their condolences.
