According to ‘SER Deportivos’ in Valencia on Wednesday, Barcelona have asked Valencia player Maxi Goméz’s circle how much his transfer would cost.
The player, who also has many admirers in the Premier League, isn’t untransferable, as his performance in his only season at Valencia has been quite irregular.
Maxi Gómez played 43 matches for Valencia and managed to score 10 goals, as well as getting 3 assists. At Celta, where he played two seasons, he was much better. In 75 matches, he became one of the revelations of La Liga with 30 goals and 8 assists.
Valencia paid 15 million euros for his services and would look to get a similar sum to allow his exit. At 24, Barca think that he is a good bet for the future.
