On Saturday, All Progressives Congress, APC, held its congresses across the federation where new officials were elected for another tenure of four years.

In Kogi local government area of the State, it was a successful story before, during and after the party congress which was conducted under peaceful atmosphere devoid of rancour and acrimony.

Some Chieftains of APC and experienced politicians from the area has reacted to the just concluded exercise, noting that it was as result of their collective efforts that led to the success story.

First to speak on the exercise is Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, says their emergence was divine and urged them to maintain winning system as to justify the confidence reposed on them.

Barr. Tanko who is a former Administrator in the area in his congratulatory message to the new party leaders, urged them to consolidate on the vast achievements of their Predecessors.

The award winning legal luminary thanked the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his effort and for providing enabling environment for peaceful conduct of the exercise.

On his part, Engr. Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the State Commissioner for solid Minerals and natural resources, described the emergence of new party Officers as part of efforts to work towards actualization of GYB2PYB 2023 presidential aspiration.

While congratulating them on their emergence urged the new officers to sit up and design a winning template that will lead the party to success in the future election.

The Gegu Beki young political heavyweight noting that their emergence were based on their antecedent, commitment, loyalty and massive support rendered to ruling APC in the area.

The commissioner pointing out that loyalty is key and urged them to consolidate on that direction in order to contribute meaningfully towards adding value to the existing party structure and fortune in Koton-Karfe,LGogi the LG.

According to the Commissioner, “We in Koton-Karfe, Kogi LG have collectively and successfully laid a foundation for GYB2PYB 2023 presidential aspiration that will usher in fresh air in the nation through their own very leader, benefactor and incumbent Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.”

In his brief congratulatory message to the newly affirmed LG APC officials, Hon. Adamu Rilwan Bala Ette, who is the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Special Duties to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, rejoice with the new LG APC Chairman and other elected officials. He urged them to work collectively for unity, peace and development of Kogi LG.

Hon. Ette who is an origin of Ette community in Koton-Karfe South East Electoral Ward assured of support.

Global Times Nigeria Correspondent, Yahaya Idris had report that the stakeholders of Kogi LG elect their new APC officials through consensus mode devoid of rancour and acrimony. A development many described as best political arithmetic in history of the area.
