The flag-bearer of the Action Alliance (AA) in the November 6, 2021, concluded governorship election in Anambra State, Chief Ben Etiaba, has congratulated Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on the occasion of his inauguration as governor of Anambra State.
Soludo who was the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), emerged the winner of the keenly contested gubernatorial election, succeeded Chief Willie Obiano, whose two terms of eight years as governor of the state elapsed on 17th March 2022.

Our correspondent reported that Soludo was sworn in by the State Chief judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu at exactly 9:45 am, at the Anambra State Government House.
The event was witnessed by several dignitaries, including the out-gone governor, Chief Willie Obiano, and his wife, Mrs. Ebelechukwu, and all the 30 members of the Anambra State House of Assembly.
However, while reacting to the epoch-making inauguration ceremony in a statement forwarded to our medium on Friday, Ben Etiaba, expressed optimism that the new governor will take Anambra to a greater height from where it presently is.
According to the frontline politician, “whereas the unfortunate distraction at the event dominated the news headlines, let us all nonetheless lift a glass in honor of our new Governor who seems every bit determined to move our state from where we presently are, to where we should be as the “Light of the Nation.

“I join all well-meaning men and women of goodwill in praying for him and his incoming team, for a successful tenure”, he added.
