Birthday Anniversary: Nasarawa Lawmaker, Hon. Alkali Celebrates With orphans, Other vulnerable, Doles Out Cash and Food Items

To provide enabling and suitable environment to both physically and vulnerable people in his constituency, the member representing Lafia North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and a celebrant who just added a new age to his existing one in sound health, today, 15th January 2022 visited some orphanage homes and hospital to provide succor and put a smile on the faces of those most in needs.

The Member representing Lafia North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Barr. Muhammed Ibrahim Alkali has visited Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital ( DASH) Lafia and orphanage homes and where he provided cash and food items to the sick and orphans.

This, the lawmaker said, the gesture was part of his social contract and campaign promises he made which is to improve their standard of living, give them a sense of belonging and relief.

Hon Alkali also said that the gesture was in commemoration of his birthday celebration to extend hands of friendship to the needy in the society.

The lawmaker donated some undisclosed amount of money and food items to patients receiving treatment in the hospital and orphans at the orphanage homes.

” I have decided to visit DASH and orphanage homes as part of my commitment to change the lives of the sick, orphans, and other less privileged ones.

” I will continue to identify with the people to improve on their standard of living,” he said

Besides, the Chairman House Committee on LG has assured of sound representation at the state legislature.

The Deputy Chief Whip of the House has solicited support from all and sundry to enable him to succeed.

The lawmaker called on the people of his constituency and the state at large to give their maximum support and cooperation to the present administration to succeed.

Responding, the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) of DASH, Dr. Aboje Aboje, and the Deputy Head of Nursing Services II, Helen Akwakipi commended Hon Alkali for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.

When Hon Alkali visited Gidan Bege Orphanage home Lafia he was received by the Coordinator who also double as the Coordinator of all orphanage homes in Nasarawa State, Reverend Bulus Abga Paul.

The Deputy Chief Whip of the House also visited the Nasarawa State Children’s home Lafia and was received by the officer in Charge, Mrs. Charity Lawrence.

It would be reported that Hon Alkalial donated food items and cash to the Orphanage homes.

The Honourable member was accompanied by his Campaign Director-General, Hon. Mohammed Salisu Murtala, SSA’s, and SA’s to the Executive Governor Of Nasarawa State among other top prominent personalities of his constituency.

It would be reported that the Birthday Celebration was Climaxed with the presentation of a gift from the wife and daughter of the celebrant Hon Alkali and the cutting of the Birthday cake.
