Bobrisky Reportedly Arrested By Nigeria Police, Car Seized, Taken To Unknown Destination

A Nigeria famous cross dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly know as Bobrisky was allegedly reported to have been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force, on Thursday night of January at his Chevron Drive residence in Lekki, Lagos.

The self-acclaimed African male Barbie has become an online sensation over the years with his eccentric cross dressing that has earned him both fans and critics and it seems his style has put him in trouble yet again.

According to eye witness, It is said that the 28-year-old self-proclaimed ‘Nigerian Barbie’ was arrested in his Lekki home in Lagos early Thursday

The report also said that the crossdresser’s cars have been seized.

Bobrisky, who is known for his eccentric style and outspoken personality, has been unusually quiet on social media and is yet to respond to the rumours.


Reports claim he had been taking to an undisclosed location but that he was brought back to move his cars. All fingers points to his cross dressing as it is frowned against heavily in Nigeria and how his birthday party was interrupted and wasn’t allowed to happen in 2019 goes to show how much authorities are trying to stop him from doing his thing

The latest news are trending mostly on the major social media platforms as a new conversation has emerged about why the authorities has chosen to bully Bobrisky into living how they want him to. Some who support Bobrisky’s lifestyle has gone ahead to defend the internet sensation claiming everyone has their life to live and they can live it however they choose to while others are simply indifferent about the arrest.

No statement has been released on the arrest so far. The question is who is after the male Barbie?.
