The immediate past Governor of Kogi state Captain Idris Wada has described the Akwa Ibom Governor Dr Udom Emmanuel as a great achiever who has made judicious use of the resources available to him to transform Akwa Ibom state.

Speaking at the commissioning of the 1.15 km long bridge which is the longest constructed by any State Government in Nigeria. Captain Wada commended the giant strides of Governor Udom Emmanuel in embarking on this landmark project which opens the gateway into the economic nerve centers of the state.

The bridge which was commissioned by the Good Luck Jonathan the immediate president of Nigeria had Governor Wada as a special guest at the epoch making event.

Idris Wada urged other state Governors to emulate the good works of Governor Udom whom he describes as a pace setter.

The bridge connects Mbo LG with Esit-Eket LGAs, is a critical Government intervention in opening up the riverine communities of Akwa Ibom state.

Capt Wada use the occasion to commend the efforts and contributions of Governor Udom Emmanuel to Nation building. He describes Akwa Ibom people as peace loving and pray for a peaceful election next month in Nigeria.
