I tend to remember every April 24th on yearly basis, though it marked the birthday of a renowned communist, Dr Engr Sulaiman Haruna, popularly known as ‘SULE BRANO’ by his peers, friends and contemporaries, but another importance attached to the day, was also the commemoration of my first ‘seed’ daughter’s birthday, ‘Ojimaojo’.

It therefore, underscores the significance of every April 24th in celebration of a worthy colossus, social crusader, and provider to the downtrodden in the society coinciding with my dear daughter, ‘Ojimaojo ‘.

According to analyst and public commentator, a golden fish does not have a hiding place like Engr Dr Brano, who ordinarily is a publicity shy and phobia individual, but it will also be a disservice to posterity and the society to refuse to bring to the public fore, a core and seasoned civil servant who had decided to deploy not only his meagre resources, but wealth of experience to humanity and human development in all ramifications.

Without mincing words, humanity does not celebrate failures and misers we all know that, therefore marking his years of birth, for a patriot who rose from grass to grace and still practice his early days orientation, through extension of community service, ordinarily not mandated to , it is exceptional.

This piece is beyond sycophantic tendencies, vainglorious or praise singing in the usual way of ordinary Nigerians, but a true and transparent representation of the personality involved commemorating his birthday today, April 24th, 2022.

His consistent, non deflection, down to earth, many decades after his struggle days as an undergraduate to a full fledged technocrat, bureaucrat of high caliber deserved to be reckoned on yearly basis without reservation.

Sustaining his good family names and orientation, as well as selfless approach to life activities, stands him out in his current strides towards human emancipation.

Quite, solemn, calm, conscious and easy going, his bane is to bequeath an egalitarian society in all facets in the society, that will be the pride of all.

For Engr Dr Sulaiman Haruna “SULE BRANO”, it is a fulfilment of life expectations in all shades including rendering of social services to the entire society.

As you add another year, to your years of life’s existence, filled with impacts to the society, no doubt your life expectations and fulfilment shall come to pass in good health, longevity and successes in all endeavours.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday Sir, Engr Dr Sulaiman Haruna “SULE BRANO.”
