Christabel condemns attack on Apostle Johnson Suleiman, calls for investigation.
By Sani Jamiu: The PDP Candidate for Akoko-Edo North Constituency, Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Christabel Eremah Ekwu has condemned the attack on the convoy of one of the illustrious sons of Edo North Senatorial District, Apostle Johnson Suleiman yesterday, where several lives, including police officers, were lost.
In solidarity with the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministry, Christabel has suspended all political engagements for some days to honour those who died in the dastardly attack.
“As we mourn the dead, I am suspending all political engagements for the time being. My condolences to the church and particularly to the family of those who lost their lives.
I call on the Edo State Government and the Commissioner of police to do all within their powers to apprehend those who were involved in this inhuman act and bring them to justice.
The act is not only cowardly, it is inhumane and barbaric. Innocent people should be able to go about with their daily lives without fear, ” she concluded.
