Hon Danladi Jatau, Member representing Kokona West Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has distributed 400 bags of rice to his constituents.
This, he said that the gesture was to enable Christians in his Constituency celebrate Christmas with joy.
Jatau, (APC-), Chairman, House Committee on Public Complaints, Petitions and Security made the distribution in Kokona Local Government Area of the State.
He also said the gesture was to impact the people in the spirit of Christmas and to change their lives positively.
Jatau urged the beneficiaries to use the rice for the purpose it was meant for.
“I will continue to put smiles on your faces and the faces of other people of my constituency at all times.
“This is to better your standard of living,” he said.
Jatau assured the people of his constituency of his continuous commitment to providing the dividends of democracy, if re-elected come 2023
He also assured the people of his constituency of effective and sound representation at the state legislature.
The lawmaker called on Christians and other Nigerians to use the period to preach for unity, peace, progress and development of the country.
He appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his efforts at developing his constituency and the state at large.
