As Christians all over the globe set for this year annual celebration and commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ which kicks off on 25th December, 2022, the executive Chairman Toto local government area of Nasarawa State has congratulated the entire Christians community within and outside the council.
Hon. Aliyu Tashas who charge Christians to embrace peace and tolerance for one another as they mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
This was contained in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Media and Communications, Yahaya Idris Toto, said the Toto LG chief security officer joined Christians across the globe in commemoration of the birth of Jesus.
Tashas who is a former Special Adviser on peace and conflict resolution to Governor of Nasarawa State enjoin the residents of Toto to always report any suspicious character who may use the festive period to torment trouble to law enforcement for appropriate action.
He said his administration has work hard to ensure peaceful coexistence and stability through the collaboration and support from the state government hence to consolidate such commitment for a better society.
While congratulating the Christians community, Tashas restated his administration commitment to protecting life and property of citizens of the area.
The Chairman prayed that this year’s Christmas celebration may strengthen the faith of the people in God and make the society a better place.
