Concerned Citizens for Good Governance, (CCGG), Kogi state Chapter has congratulated the Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his ascension to second term, urging him to learn from the past.
In their congratulatory message to the governor on Monday, the state Coordinator for the group Comrade Adex Osachi Shuaibu, wished the governor good health and God’s guidance as series of devils have constituted themselves to mislead him and subvert good governance .
“We urge you to set a pace as a young politician to good and exemplary governance, devoid of ethnicity, religion, age or creed.
“We are worried with the I’ll advise that only inexperienced could serve in your administration. No nation can prosper without the knowledge of the past “the group asserted.
The Governor is also advised against diversionary tendencies especially religion, sections, and ethnicity in the course of his administration.
Shuaibu also appealed to the Governor to always listen to voices of the oppressed instead of dismissing them as they are usually expressing the feelings of the people.
The Concerned Citizens who congratulated and commended the Governor on the careful and positive selection of his new cabinet, said it is a clear attestation that the government is now focussed and ready to carry all the people along.
