Conjugal Union: Ighrakpata’s Tega Becomes Mrs Olayinka.

Creme de la creme of society rocked Uvwie Community in Delta State, on Saturday as Sheriffied Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, Deputy Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly, formerly handed over her pretty and intelligent daughter, TEGA, to her hubby, Olayinka at the Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, PTI Warri.
The Church auditorium was filled to capacity as guests scrambled to catch a glimpse of the beautiful bride, Tega and the dark skinned handsome groom, Olayinka. Of a truth, the couple is a perfect March in all ramifications. You can practically feel their endless love for each other, two hearts that beat as one.
They exchanged marital vows before the priest at the altar in line with Catholic Church doctrine and hand-in-hand the newly wedded acknowledged cheers from guests; and they zoomed off in a classy Limousine to the prestigious Platinum Banquet Place in Uvwie, one of the best event centres in the state.
The lavishly decorated Platinum Banquet Place, built and managed by our superlative Political Amazon and Submarine, Rt Hon Evelyn Oboro, hosted personalities from all walks of life on the kind invitation of the Ighrakpatas and the Olayinkas; another progressive union of the Urhobo and Yoruba ethnic nationalities in Nigeria.

Tega and hubby Olayinka, two young love birds now divinely united as one in holy matrimony gave good account of themselves as they entertained guests and dignitaries with stylistic dance steps, romantic body language and consistent winking of the eyes and pleasant smiles. It was indeed a classy wedding that will linger in the memory of guests for a long time to come.
Sheriffied Hon Solomon Ighrakpata and his elegant wife could not hide their gratitude to God, as they sang praises and hand-in-hand went round the cosy arena to exchange pleasantries with guests. It was indeed a day of joy, unforgettable day and moment for the Ighrakpatas known for excessive humility and aristocratic dignity.
The jewel of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and governor of Delta State, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa (Mama Delta), was in attendance and in her usual motherly display of love wherever she goes, went all out to wholeheartedly celebrate the newly wedded and gave them candid advise for a lasting and blessed conjugal union. She urged them to be prayerful and to place God first in all they do in life.
PDP Vice Presidential candidate and Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, was unavoidably absent due to national assignments, but our excessive local content incoming governor and Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor and his jewel of inestimable value were at the event to ensure that the Ighrakpatas and the Olayinkas, as well as the teeming guests had the best of hospitality they truly deserved.
Sheriffied Hon Solomon Ighrakpata is one of the most trusted and reliable political associates of Mr. Speaker and Delta PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Oroheedor, JP, the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom. The duo are always together. He can always count on Hon Ighrakpata, a brother and a good friend. Rt Hon Oborevwori was in high spirit, obviously thankful to God for the timely conjugal Union of Tega and Olayinka.
And on Sunday, the Ighrakpatas and the Olayinkas were again at the Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church to give thanks to Almighty God for the huge success of their children wedding ceremony. After the Thanksgiving Service, the Ighrakpatas hosted guests to another round of entertainment. I enjoyed the tasty Urhobo cuisines personally prepared by Mrs Unoma Ighrakpata. She is a talented great cook.
