Continue with your good work, you will reap it -Senator Olujimi tells Aduda.
By Sadiq Abubakar, Abuja.: The senator representing Ekiti south senatorial district, Senator Biodun Olujimi, has commended the senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for his quality representation in the territory, urging him to continue with his good work as he will reap it.
Senator Olujimi, gave the commendation in her testimony at the one year memorial service of the late father of Senator Aduda, Rt Reverend Tanimu Samari Aduda, which held at the Senator Aduda’s achievements family residence in Karu, Abuja on Thursday.
She recalled how she normally visited the family residence of Senator Aduda and saw several men and women who lived around the compound, while drinking, eating and praying amid happiness and joy.
She said she felt it was better to move very close to such family than any other, saying until when Senator Aduda’s mother passed away, she had always paid regular visit to the family of her colleague, Senator Philip Aduda.
“It is an unusual thing to have people who believe in human beings that are willing to touch souls. Most of us don’t want people to come near us at all. I can recall how Senator Aduda’s father will be in the house quietly, while the mother will be inside the compound looking after everyone. That is the life of service, that is the life we should all live, when stories are told after us, those are the stories that should be said of everyone of us that will touch lives,” she said.
