Continue with your good work, you will reap it -Senator Olujimi tells Aduda.

By Sadiq Abubakar, Abuja.: The senator representing Ekiti south senatorial district, Senator Biodun Olujimi, has commended the senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for his quality representation in the territory, urging him to continue with his good work as he will reap it.

Senator Olujimi, gave the commendation in her testimony at the one year memorial service of the late father of Senator Aduda, Rt Reverend Tanimu Samari Aduda, which held at the Senator Aduda’s achievements family residence in Karu, Abuja on Thursday.

She recalled how she normally visited the family residence of Senator Aduda and saw several men and women who lived around the compound, while drinking, eating and praying amid happiness and joy.

She said she felt it was better to move very close to such family than any other, saying until when Senator Aduda’s mother passed away, she had always paid regular visit to the family of her colleague, Senator Philip Aduda.

“It is an unusual thing to have people who believe in human beings that are willing to touch souls. Most of us don’t want people to come near us at all. I can recall how Senator Aduda’s father will be in the house quietly, while the mother will be inside the compound looking after everyone. That is the life of service, that is the life we should all live, when stories are told after us, those are the stories that should be said of everyone of us that will touch lives,” she said.

She said she was grateful to God that both the late father and mother of Senator Aduda had left behind children who are God fearing that have been touching lives of downtrodden and the less privileged ones in the society.

“And I want to thank God for the lives of all their children and Baba had done well. You have really come and seen you have conquered. And you have left with us the best in the society,” she added.

Olujimi, therefore, thanked her colleagues, dignitaries, clerics, traditional rulers, bishops and top government officials that came to honor one year remembrance of Senator Aduda’s father.

“And I also want to thank my colleague, Senator Aduda for the good work he has been doing for people of the FCT. Don’t stop, continue as you will reap it and the future will speak well of you,” she said.
