Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, as well as Delta State governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and other candidates of the party will attend Ethiope East Campaign Rally scheduled to hold at Isiokolo Pavilion on Tuesday 10th January, 2023, begining from 2pm.
This was contained in a statement by Delta State Campaign Council Assistant Deputy Director of Media and Publicity, Fred Oghenesivbe, and made available to newsmen in Asaba.
The Delta PDP Campaign Council spokesperson said the rally will showcase the political mobilization strength of the eleven wards in the local government in appreciation of Governor Okowa’s good governance in Delta state, and for the numerous quality projects executed in Ethiope East State Constituency in the past seven and half years and counting.
Oghenesivbe who is also the Executive Assistant on Communications to the Vice Presidential Candidate of PDP, Senator Okowa, assured that Ethiope East will deliver all PDP candidates on the agreed five over five voting arrangements, noting that opposition parties do not have the political structures to win elections in the local government.
He urged all PDP supporters and party faithfuls to come out in their large numbers to welcome Gov Okowa, the party’s governorship candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori, his running mate, Monday Onyeme and all candidates of the party to Ethiope East.
According to Fred Oghenesivbe, there shall be stylistic display of the rich cultural heritage of Ethiope East Communities to entertain guests at the rally, among other activities lined up for the rally scheduled to begin at 2pm on Tuesday. 10th January.
