…Says Senator Agege betrayed his fellow Igbe Juju worshippers because of election.

Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has revealed that the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, and her governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege mischievously sponsored the N850 billion loan fake news against Okowa administration, so as to mislead voters in the state.

Oghenesivbe made the disclosure in a statement on Tuesday, saying that Agege and the APC are relying solely on media propaganda on social media to sway gullible voters prior to governorship election on Saturday, noting that Deltans and registered voters are way ahead of Senator Agege and APC dirty game plan.

He berated Senator Agege for sponsoring the N850 billion fake loan news against the state Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur, In an attempt to diminish the soaring popularity of the PDP governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori widely known to be the best among the candidates contesting Delta governorship election.

Oghenesivbe disclosed that Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda remain the only result oriented blueprint that would take Delta State to the next higher level in infrastructure, socioeconomic and human capital development, adding that governor Okowa has been adjudged to be a megastar in wealth and job creation, prudent in public finance administration and a visionary servant-leader.

He posited that Okowa painstakingly blocked all financial leakages in all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government when he assumed office in 2015, saying that the uncommon transformation in the state in the past seven years and nine months, was as a result of the governor’s good governance strides and visionary leadership as against the old order of “you chop, I chop.”

The EAC quoted Okowa as saying that the fake news about N850billiin loan trending on social media was planned and sponsored from “the pit of hell” by his political detractors to deliberately deceive voters, pointing out that the failed electioneering media propaganda and dirty game plan will surely work against Senator Agege and the APC on Saturday March 18.

Oghenesivbe pointed out that Okowa later applied to Delta State House of Assembly to reduce the banks bridging facility of N150 billion to N100 billion but later got N91 billion which the federal government has started paying directly to the banks from the N217billion owed the state government.

He took a swipe at Senator Agege for consistently betraying his helpers, especially those who deployed Igbe spiritual juju to launch him to fame and power in the past, noting that the greatest betrayal was when Agege denied his childhood and family Igbe Juju religion which contributed immensely towards the advancement of his political career and rise to the position of Deputy Senate President.

Oghenesivbe recall that Agege’s late father who was the pioneer Chief Judge of the state, was the head of Igbe Juju worshippers in Delta State and second in command in Nigeria, noting that Senator Agege’s OBAISI of Urhobo land title was largely influenced by his high status as an Igbe juju worshipper. He observed that the Agege family are not known to be Catholics but pagans and full time Igbe Juju core loyalists till date, and that includes Athe APC governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

“Senator Agege is deploying fake news, lies and media propaganda against governor Okowa, so as to sway the minds of voters from PDP governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori perceived to be the governor’s able successor.

“This failed media campaign strategy against Okowa administration is continue to be counter productive and laughable because Deltans are aware of the multifaceted criminal records and unscrupulous lifestyle of Senator Agege over the years; from documents forgery, impersonation and perjury criminal convictions in the United States of America, to mace theft at the National Assembly, diversion of N80 billion meant for rehabilitation of federal roads in Delta and illegal deductions of money meant for pipeline surveillance in Delta Central Senatorial District. The list is elastic.

“Okowa’s integrity cannot be fractured by the misleading fake news, lies and falsehood peddled and sponsored by APC and Senator Agege in the course of this election. He will fail woefully at the polls because APC is widely known to have destroyed Nigeria’s economy and imposed acute insecurity and huge debt burden of N77 trillion on Nigerians.

“Nigeria is in a shadow of itself. No thanks to Senator Agege who lobbied for Senate approval of N77 trillion debt for the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government. He lack moral and legal justification to criticise Okowa administration and the state government. Delta is in good financial standing and solvent in all ramifications. Agege is a failed alarmist.

“The APC national government deliberately and willfully withheld Naira notes from Nigerians and this has caused untold hardship, coupled with high cost of pump price of petrol and electricity tariff. Nigerians are groaning in abject poverty occasioned by APC and Buhari’s bad governance, while Agege is flying about in a customized Falcon classic private jet he bought with diverted and stolen public funds.

“We are sure that the excessive local content governorship candidate of PDP, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, will win the Guber Election with a wide margin. This is crystal clear.

“Delta youth and voters are united in one accord to deliver PDP and all her House of Assembly candidates on Saturday March 18, by the grace of God,” Oghenesivbe assured.
