The battle for the souls of Ethiope Federal Constituency enters its second round this morning, 24th May, 2022 at Oghara Township Stadium in Ethiope West Local Government Area and Sapele Township Stadium in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

Vibrant federal lawmaker and empowerment giant, Hon Chief Ben Roland Igbakpa will be locking horns with Hon Mrs Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, in a renewed battle to grab PDP flag for Ethiope Federal Constituency.

Ben Igbakpa: He has excellent track records as a first timer federal lawmaker, aptly described by political commentators as the best ever in the green chambers representing Ethiope Federal Constituency since the creation of Delta State.

Not only that Igbakpa is very active and productive in the green hallowed chambers, he moved over 30 motions and sponsored 18 Bills including;

1. A Bill for an Act to provide for the Establishment of a Federal University of Education in Isiokolo, Agbon Kingdom, Ethiope East LGA, Delta State and other Related Matters.

The Bill scaled through the House of Representatives and pending in the Senate. It is a done deal.

2. A Bill for an Act to provide for the Establishment of the Federal Medical Centre, Oghara, Ethiope West LGA, And for Matters Related Thereto.

3. A Bill for an Act to Repeal the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (Amendment) Act, 2007, and to Enact the National Infrastructure Management And Maintenance Agency And for Related Matters, and many more.

Igbakpa’s empowerment record is second to none; distribution of Sewing Machines, Construction of Solar Boreholes, Installation of Transformers, Road Rehabilitations and construction in Ethiope East and West, Distribution of Ladies Bikes, Distribution of Hair Dryers, Distribution of Cars to party loyalists in Ethiope East and West, and many more.

Igbakpa’s humility is unbeatable and have always identified with his constituents during special events, marriage and birthday ceremonies and other important events.

Igbakpa is fully SHERIFFIED.

Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu: The only thing going for her is the fact that she is the daughter of our national leader, Chief James Ibori, the Odidigborigbo of the political universe.

During her two tenures in the Delta State House of Assembly, Erhiatake was not popular in terms of attendance, moving motions and sponsoring Bills, and I stand to be corrected.

I won’t say she was a bench warmer but obviously not active in the hallowed chambers and in the business of the house. This is the gospel truth and the Bible teaches us to always say the truth, because it is the truth said that will give us God’s backing and protection.

If you ask me further, I would humbly say that Erhiatake is not and can never be a match for Hon Ben Igbakpa, talk less of being a better replacement in this dispensation.

I give VICTORY to Hon Ben Igbakpa, all the way, from the bottom of my heart.

OSU Federal Constituency: Hon Evelyn Oboro, Gbinigie and AFE are to slugg it out today at the Sapele Township Stadium.

Oboro: She is a superb political Amazon with enviable track records as a two time federal lawmaker. She is a great philanthropist and empowerment giant. Oboro is greatly loved by the good people of OSU federal constituency, and very sound, for that matter.

Oboro is well read, a lawyer and also a good political ambassador of the women folk. She is fully SHERIFFIED.

2. Hon Efe AFE: Good guy and one timer in the green chambers. I really do not have his background takes but have demonstrated electoral strength for pulling 25 delegates votes. I wish him well.

3. Gbinijie: He sprung surprises for earning 25 delegates votes, a sign that he is also well connected to the good people of the OSU federal constituency. I wish him well.

My projections?

1. Hon Ben Igbakpa is a winner.

2. Hon Evelyn Oboro is a winner.

Kindly post your forecast and permutations. Whoever wins become our party, PDP, House of Rep’s flag bearer for Ethiope and OSU federal constituencies.

Accreditation and voting will commence at 9 am in both venues. Be there and be part of history.

I am on my way to Oghara Township Stadium, meet me there Live!

PDP …Power to the People!
