Former Minister of Works, Chief Mike Onolememen CON, has admonishing Nigerians to continue to be focused on building a nation of their dreams that would be entrenched in equity, justice and fairness.

In his Democracy Day message, the Senator elect under PDP representing Edo Central Senatorial District said such focused attention will not only help the nation to achieve successes in democratic processes, it will also help in withstanding any societal challenges it might be faced with.

In a hand written note made available to Truthlive.net, the Adolor of Uromi Kingdom said June 12 is a significant date in the democratic history of the nation as it ushered the present democratic dispensation we have all been enjoying today since 1999.

The former Minister described democracy as a process that requires the participation of citizens of the country as to enhance good governance, justice, equity, freedom, growth and development. He admonished the youth particularly to be tolerant of others’ views and perspectives, as well uphold the tenets of democracy in its totality.
