Dr Kashim Akor Calls For More Investments In Private Media Organizations.

The Director General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has advocated for more support to the private media organisations in Nigeria to enhance reportage and media development.

He made the call over the weekend during a familiarization tour to a private local television station, Ankpa TV, says the development of both local private stations will enhance information, spread and patronage of community news.

He commended the singular efforts of the owners of Ankpa TV, saying with its invention, vital and desiring information was being reeled out to the local and diaspora audience as when due.

Dr Akor promised to mobilise more support for the private TV station to enable it to acquire state-of-the-art equipment, that will attract continuous and high patronage from the general public.

Earlier, the sole owner of Ankpa TV, popularly known as MC Ajebere appreciated Dr Kashim Akor’s relentless contributions to the stations in all areas, promising to operate within the ethics of its practice.

He enjoined all other well-meaning individuals, corporate organizations and philanthropists to show similar support being rendered tirelessly by the NPC helmsman.
