The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister of State, Hon Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has joined Kogites to congratulate Gov. Yahay Bello on the just concluded victory at the Appeal court setting in Abuja.
Mrs Aliyu noting that the appellate court affirmed the decision of Kogi electorates who turned out en masse for the re-election of Bello.
She assured the people of the state that the governor would reciprocate their gesture by consolidating on the achievement he has recorded in his first tenure.
The Court of Appeal in Abuja, on Saturday, upheld the judgment of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which earlier dismissed the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) challenging the victory of Bello during the November 16, 2019, gubernatorial election.
The five-member panel of the court led by Justice Adamu Jauro dismissed the appeal.
