Edo 2024: Emwanta Blast Obaseki, Says Development Only Around Oredo
The immediate past Edo State Commissioner for Youth and Gender, Mr. Emwanta Adaze, who last week wrote that he has quit PDP in a letter well circulated, and blasted Obaseki in his recent WhatsApp post claiming the only development that one can point to is in the LGA where the governor hails from, which is Oredo.
In the said WhatsApp platform, Adaze said he was contacted by Mr. Ken Imasuagbon who recently left PDP in the state for the Labour Party. He said part of his anger which was why he left the PDP was that no govermental presence is felt in his LGA, Egor.
He also said, which was contained in his letter of resignation, that since 1999, PDP has never lost any presidential election, that it was this year the party was badly defeated under Governor Obaseki.
The erstwhile commissioner added that he was making conscious moves to right a lot of wrongs he did to people because of Governor Obaseki. That he is making peqce moves to reach out to former Governor Wike, Senator Oshiomole and even the revered Oba of Benin.
Although some members of the platform said he is just realizing himself because he was told, like others, he wont be coming back as a commissioner under the present administration, and that he had offended too many people because of the governor who hardly appreciates sacrifices.
At press time, all efforts to reach him for confirmation of these forwarded message from the WhatsApp platform has not yielded any result.
