Eid-El-Fitr: Kogi State Police Command, CP Akeem Yusuf Congratulates Muslim faithful

As 2023 annual Ramadan fasting come to an end on Thursday and Eid-El-Fitr celebration commenting on Friday, The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Akeem A. Yusuf, in a message on Friday congratulate the adherents of Islamic region on the occasion of the Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
CP Akeem Yusuf also assured the Citizens and Residents of Kogi State of adequate security measures to ensure a peaceful celebration.
This was contact through SP WILLIAM OVYE AYA, POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER, noted that CP Akeem Yusuf had a Conference with the Senior Police Officers of the Command on Thursday 20th April, 2023 charged all Area Commanders, Tactical and operational Commanders as well as the Divisional Police Officers to beef up security within their Areas of Responsibilities and to ensure massive deployment of patrol teams along the major highway and undercover operations to black spots, flash points, and other vulnerable criminal spots to nip all forms of crimes and criminality across the State in the bud.
The Commissioner of Police reiterates the Command’s level of preparedness, determination and commitment in synergy with other security agencies in ensuring safety of lives and property.
To this end, the Commissioner urges the good people of the State to continue to collaborate with the security Forces with credible and useful information on the activities of Criminal elements in order to curtail their acts.
