Eid-El-Fitr: Pharm. Asuku Urge Muslims to Strive for Forgiveness, Abide by the Teachings of Prophet Muhammed (SAW)

Muslims have been called upon to continue to strive to forgive others and abide by the Teachings of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW) as they have done during the Ramadan.

Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Muh’d Jamiu Asuku made the call in his while celebrating with Muslim ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Fitri Festival.

Pharm. Asuku said Allah has been merciful to human despite their shortcomings, stressing that there was need for human to always forgive one another to enable them enjoy Allah’s blessings.

While congratulating the adherents of Islam on the celebration of the 2022 Eid El-Fitr, the Chief of Staff enjoined them to remain dedicated to the service of Allah and humanity.

“Eid-el-Fitr, which means festival of the breaking of the fast – is celebrated at the end of Ramadan in Islamic calendar

“Fasting is important for Muslims during Ramadan as it allows us to devote ourselves to the faith and come closer to Allah

“I am delighted to send greetings of peace, unity and goodwill to Muslim Ummah all over the world, especially in Kogi State, as we observe and celebrate the 2022 Eid-el-Fitr

“I urge us all to strive for forgiveness and be closer to the noble life and teachings of Prophet Muhammed (SAW), peace be upon him

“On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all the blessings of the sacred month of Ramadan, (Amin)”.
