Eid-El-Fitr: Senator Aduda Felicitates With FCT Muslims, Urges Sustenance Of Virtues Of Ramadan

The senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Aduda Aduda, has felicitated with the muslim Ummah in the territory, as they mark this year’s Eid-el fitr, that signified the end of the 30-days Ramadan fast.

Senator Aduda, in his Sallah message on Monday, enjoined the muslim faithful to sustain in applying the virtues of the Ramadan, through sustained supplication, hospitality and good neighbourhood.

He stressed on the need for the muslims in the FCT and across the country, to re-affirm their obedience to Allah’s injunctions as contained in the Holy Qur’an, and follow the teachings of the holy prophet, as well as pray for the country’s leaders at all levels for God to continue to guide them in the course of discharging their responsibilities.

He also used the occasion of the festive period, to call on the good people of the FCT to continue to accommodate each other’s beliefs and values irrespective of tribe, ethnic, religious and political affiliation in order to sustain peace, harmony, socio-cultural and economic prosperity of the FCT and Nigeria at large.

Senator Aduda, however, reassured the good people of the FCT of his continuous determination towards championing their course through the national assembly.

He, therefore, called on the youth across the territory to continue to remain law abiding to all constituted authorities and go about in pursuit of their lawful means of livelihood, even as he called for continuous prayers for the country to overcome the security challenge.

“And it is on this premise that I want to use the occasion of this Eid-El-Fitr to implore all the good people of the FCT and Nigerians to continue to pray for the sustenance of peace, security, and socio-economic prosperity of the FCT and the country at large,” he said.

Senator Aduda, while emphasizing the need for residents of the territory to be vigilant, particularly, during this celebration to ensure the safety of the neighborhood and peaceful co-existence.
