The Executive Chairman of Owan West Council, Hon. Frank Ilaboya has congratulated Owan West Muslims for the successful completion of the month-long Ramadan fast.

The Council Boss made this known in a statement made available to journalists yesterday evening by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Hassan Otinau, in Sabongidda-Ora, the administrative headquarters of the Local Government.

The statement said, the Chairman joins Muslims in Owan West in celebrating Eid-el Fitri, which marks the end of Ramadan Fast.

He noted that, ” Allah will hearken to the supplications of the faithful and bless Owan West even more abundantly, heal the land from the COVID-19 pandemic, sustain the peace in the LGA and shower prosperity on the Council and its people.

“As you celebrate Eid-el-Fitri and the end of Ramadan fast, I urge you to continue to pray for the healing of the World from the deadly virus.
“I want to assure you that local government remains committed to the fight against the disease.

” Please, do make enduring the lessons of kindness, fear of Allah and spirit of sharing with the needy imbibed during the holy month of Ramadan.

“As Muslims imbibe the lessons of Ramadan fast a lasting experience through sustained devotion to Allah and uphold the teachings of the Qu’ran and the holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW), Ilaboya wished all Muslims in Owan West a happy Sallah celebrations.
