An All Progressives Congress, APC, National Assembly Aspirant representing Toto/Nasarawa federal constituency in the just concluded primary election, Hon. Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Aibro has tasked Muslims in the state and country at large to continue to maintain a peaceful disposition and good neighborliness so that the present administration can effectively deliver the promised dividends of democracy to the citizens.
Aibro also called on Nigerians to fervently pray for peace, stability, and economic prosperity so that the country can as well overcome its security challenge.
Aibro, a renowned grassroots politician, nationalist, and philanthropist, who spoke to Global Times Nigeria on the telephone said the citizens should allow the reason for the season which is obedience and trust in Allah as exemplified by Ibrahim the father of faith and the Universe (Abraham) in affirmation-building (Ishmail) as a burnt offering and came ascending sacrifice (ram) to always do so.
“We thank Allah for making the Muslim witness this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration peacefully. The significance of the sacrifice within the period besides the worship of Allah is also meant to help nation-building and strengthen economic development and improve the relationship among people.”
He congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Nigerians, and the Libro Campaign Organisation, ACO, across the Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir.
Aibro, therefore, charged Muslim leaders and faithful especially from the Northern states to exhibit love, sacrifice, and be their brothers’ keeper at all times.
