Eid-el-Kabir: Barr. Tanko Congratulates Muslims, Prays For Peace And nation’s Unity

As the muslims faithful all over the world particularly Nigeria set for the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Hon. Chief Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, on Thursday enjoined all Nigerians to take advantage of the celebration to supplicate for enhanced peace, security and progress of the State and country at large.

Barr. Tanko, who was the immediate past Administrator of Kogi LGA, emphasized the significance of Eid-el-Kabir in strengthening the bond that binds the nation together, also called on Nigerians to embrace the virtues of love, charity and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammed, (S. A. W).

Barr. Tanko, in his Sallah Message, Congratulated with Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, all Muslim faithful and wished them the guidance and blessings of Allah.

He maintained that “the ultimate goal remains our collective ability to live in peace and harmony in a secure environment, to cherish one another irrespective of religious, ethnic and political differences, for sustainable development of the nation”.

Barr. Tanko, therefore, wishes all Nigerians a peaceful and pleasant celebration.

In another development, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa has also condemned the recent attacked on the people of Agbudu community in Kogi LGA where 14 persons reportedly killed and 6 other fatally injured by unknown gunmen who invaded the peaceful community.

He pray God to return peace and normalcy to the area and assured them of government commitment to fish out those bandits who carried out the attack in no distance time. He stated.
