Eid-El-Kabir: Bashir Gegu lauds Bello for peaceful coexistence of Kogites.

Kogi state Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Abubakar Muhammed Bashir Gegu, has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on the celebration of Eid- El-Kabir.

In his message to the Governor, Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu, said the annual celebration is reminder of God’s command to humanity on the need to jettison selfishness and embark on selflessness as sacrifice.
He said Bello has done a lot for the peaceful coexistence of the various segments and several interest groups in the state as previous sectional, ethnic and religious sentiments have been doused.
“Kogi today is the most peaceful state in the country under the able leadership of the Governor, who has set up a water tight security architecture 24 hours round.
“He has developed the youth by empowering them through education as evidenced in his education revolution by the establishment of well staffed and equipped Confluence University of Science and the Technology, Osara,, where thousands have gained admissions with out problem. Just this week another University has been approved for Kabba by National University Commission,” the Commissioner further stated.

While also congratulating the entire Muslim community across the state on the occasion of the festival of Eid El Kabir, Hon.Gegu, prayed to God for a peaceful celebration and God’s guidance
He therefore appealed to the citizens of the State to offer special prayers for the governor for God’s guidance and protection in his drive to a peaceful transition to his successor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
