The PDP Vice-Chairman, South South Zone, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has felicitated Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithfuls, on the occasion of the Sallah Festival.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Orbih urged the Muslims not to deviate from the essence of the celebration, which is sacrifice.

He said, “As I felicitates Muslims on the celebration of Eid-El-Kabir, I urge them to continue to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, love and humility, which the festival represents.

“We are in trying times in our nation’s history, especially on areas of insecurity and the economy, but we must encourage ourselves to be patient, peaceful and live in love with our neighbours. Nation building is a collaborative effort, we must therefore join hands together to see progress and development in our nation. This can only happen when when we take responsible actions that will foster peace and progress.

“I pray that this year’s Sallah is celebrated in a convivial peaceful atmosphere.”
