Eid-el-Maulud: Barr. Tanko Felicitates With Kogites, Nigerians Muslims, Calls For Peace, Unity Of Purpose.

The Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, joined Nigerians to celebrate Eid-El-Malud, said Muslims faithful should preach peace, unity and love as espouse in Islam.

The Chairman, felicitated with all Nigerian Muslims as they celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed.

Barr. Tanko urged Nigerian Muslims to “offer special prayers during the Eid-el-Maulud for greater peace, unity and progress in Nigeria.”

According to Barr. Tanko, “I want Nigerians Muslims to emulate the virtues of honesty, selflessness, charity, tolerance, good neighbourlines, justice, equity and fairness which the Prophet preached and exemplified will be of immense benefit to the nation in this regard.”

“He therefore urges all Nigerians to commit themselves to making a greater effort to imbibe these qualities and values as they celebrate the Prophet’s birth. The President wishes all Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Maulud,”

Barr. Tanko, who is a former Administrator of Kogi LG, erstwhile Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State and a legal luminary.
