El-Rufai mocks Obi’s two-million-man march in Kaduna

Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has rubbished the earlier plan by supporters of Peter Obi, Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), to hold a “two-million-man march” for him in the state.

Global Times Nigeria reports that Supporters of Obi across the country have been holding such marches to show their support and solidarity with him.

Recently, there was a march for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in Nasarawa state, where they claimed millions of people from the State came out to register their support and solidarity.

The Governor who is of the All Progressives Congress, APC, In a tweet on Monday, said he hopes they have two hundred people in the streets of Kaduna for the planned march.

The governor boasted that they can only get the figure they are projecting by “importing” people to the state.

“In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter?,” El-Rufai who is completing his second term said.

“I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Monday, and came on the overnight bus last night!! I just dey laff, wallahi!!”
