Elections: Senator Aduda receives 250 APC decampees to PDP in Bwari

The senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT, on Saturday, received over 250 members of the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC) into the fold of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Shere ward of Bwari area council of Abuja

State chairman of the PDP in the FCT, Hon Sunday Zaka, while handing over the decampees to Senator Aduda during campaign tour to Shere community of the council on Thursday, commended the defectors for taking such a bold decision to join the PDP train in the council.

He assured the decampees of equal treatment, saying the party will carry them along in every decision taken that will always ensure success of the party’s affairs not only Shere but the entire FCT.

Zaka, further urged the decampees to ensure they embark on vigorous across nook and crannies of the ward in order to ensure the victory of all the PDP candidates come February 25tb 2023 election in the area.

Addressing the campees, Senator Aduda, who said he was elated with the bold decision taken by the former APC members in pitching their tent with the PDP in the area.

He assured them that his doors are always wide open for any advise that will enhance rapid development of the council, while urging them to collaborate with other members of the PDP towards working for the victory of the party come February 25tb 2023 election.

Earlier, the PDP ward chairman of Shere, while spending on behalf of residents of the area, commended senator Aduda, for embarking on project that has been impacting on the lives people of the area.

He, therefore, appealed to Senator Aduda to come to the aid residents of the community in refurbishing some broken down boreholes in the area in order to cushion the effect of water scarcity in the area.
