Emefiele, DSS Saga: Cabal infighting has overwhelmed Buhari’s Govt. – SDP Presidential Candidate

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo has expressed deep concerned over recurring internal crises derailing the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Adewole noted that exposed alleged planned to arrest the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele over allegation of terrorism financing is purely an indication that all is not well with Buhari’s government.

In a series of tweets via his verified twitter handle, the international lawyer said that the most dangerous and ridiculous saga he has seen is how Godwin Emefiele “is now part of the present political shenanigans instead of paying keen attention to monetary policies.”

Prince Adebayo said, “I have said it not with joy but most regretfully that @MBuhari watches his presidency become a stage for pediatric hirelings and mischievous crowd renters who have no merit to be in public office. Now factions of overfed incompetents are dancing naked in face of hungry Nigerians.

“The most dangerous and ridiculous saga I have seen is how @Godwin
is now part of the present political shenanigans instead of paying keen attention to monetary policies. Ongoing CUPP theatrical press conference smacks of infighting by derailed team of@MBuhari Tragicomic.

The human rights lawyers and civil groups, including the Arewa Youth Consultative Movement, had on Monday raised the alarm over an alleged plot by the Department of State Services (DSS) to frame up the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, over alleged terrorism sponsorship against Nigeria.

Addressing newsmen, the groups under the aegis of the Coalition of National Interest Defenders said it has concrete evidence to support its claims.

The convener of the coalition, Mr Tochukwu Ohazuruike at the media briefing further alleged that the plan is to keep Mr Emefiele for at least 60 days until after the general elections next year.
