Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, son of first and second executive governor of Kogi State, late Prince Abubakar Audu of the blessed memory has praised the good effort of the Kogi State government under the process leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for ensuring peaceful transition of Igala culture leading to installation of a new king.

Following Kogi State Executive Council’s approval of the appointment of Prince Mathew Alhaji Opaluwa as the new Attah Igala Elect, of Igala Kingdom, a prominent Igala son, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, congratulates the new Paramount ruler of Igala land and the entire Igala people.
He commended the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his dodgedness and sense of history to ensure the antecedents of the Igala culture and history were duly observed before the approval.
Prince Shuaibu who noted with utmost satisfaction with the processes that led to the final approval, said it was guided by a wise counsel.
He therefore thanked the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his concern and decision to ensure peaceful transition of the revered Igala monarch and wish the new Atah a long, successful and eventful tenure of office.
