A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a house of representatives aspirant for Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Aibro, has congratulated Senator Abdullahi Adamu, for emerging as the new national chairman of the party, saying senator Adamu’s emergence will bring more unity and peace among members and stakeholders of the party across the country.
Aibro, while speaking with our correspondent at the convention ground in Abuja, on Saturday, noted that the consensus method adopted by the party’s stakeholders is a clear indication that there is unity and understanding among the party’s stalwarts.
He, however, commended Nasarawa state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura, speaker of the state house of assembly as well as other APC stakeholders for coming together to unite and spoke in one voice in adopting Senator Abdullahi Adamu, as the APC national chairman.
He stressed the need for the incoming new national chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, to ensure he carried every member, stakeholder, and supporter of the party along to make the party continue to wax stronger.
He also commended other chairmanship aspirants and states governors and national assembly caucuses for doggedness and foresight bowing to President Muhammadu Buhari’s choice of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, as the party’s national chairman.
According to him, Senator Abdullahi Adamu’s, political antecedent cannot be questioned, saying the new APC national chairman has all it takes in addressing whatever challenges facing the party across the country.
He described senator Adamu, as a politician with good charisma and competency that can move the party to greater heights, even as he called on other elected national executives of the party to support the new chairman to move to greater heights.
Our correspondent further reports that Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Aibro, who is the leading aspirant for the Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency for the 2023 election on the platform of the APC, further called on the good people of the constituency to rally around behind the new APC national chairman for him to succeed in all ramifications.
