EndSars: Christabel Salutes Youths on Second Year Anniversary.

Onaivi Saiki.: The PDP Candidate for Akoko-Edo North Constituency, Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Christabel Eremah Ekwu, yesterday saluted the Nigerian youth on the second year anniversary of the EndSars peaceful protests that took place across the country.

Christabel, in an interactive section with selected journalists in Abuja said, “I am using this medium to salute the resilience and focused attention of the Nigerian youth on the second year anniversary.

What was achieved, even though it was truncated by hoodlums, has gone down the annals of our contemporary history as one of the most popular and accepted protests ever conducted in Nigeria. It showed that peaceful protests can achieve more than even war in sending the necessary message to those in government.

I particularly appreciated then their collective effort, which was very peaceful and how much the youth can manage the situations if allowed to control their own destiny by themselves.

They were organized, coordinated, peaceful, collective, well managed and in short, they spoke with one voice as if they had a single leader, which they didn’t have.

The protest was structured like Anti-Fascism, AntiFa, we see in Europe and America, only that this was very well organized.

“I hope the youth can replicate this organized temper for the 2023 general elections. We need to vote in leaders who have registered programs for the youth, so it will be necessary for them to vote wisely,” she concluded.
