High Chief, Hon. (Engineer) Abubakar Bashir Gegu, a grassroot politician, mobilizer and philanthropist has congratulated the Treasurer of Kogi local government of the State, High Chief Abdullahi Yusuf Ohikwura on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a signed congratulatory message released through his media office and made available to press men, on Sunday, in Lokoja, the State capital Engineer Bashir Gegu extolled the leadership qualities and astute contributions of the Council Treasurer aims towards a sustained consolidation of the new direction of the APC and Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello led administration in Kogi.
Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu, a serving Commissioner in the State Ministry for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, said he was grateful to God for giving the people of Kogi LG, an astute Economy expert of high repute to the Egbira nation and Kogi state, and prayed God to grant him more wisdom.
The statement further read in part “On behalf of my family, friends, supporters and associates, I wish to felicitate with my amiable brother a party stalwart and leader of inestimable value on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebration.
“Sir, your indefatigable role as APC stalwart of our dear LG has contributed to the remarkable and modest achievements recorded by the APC led administrations for past 5 years of governance.
“As you deservedly celebrate this birthday anniversary, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of happiness and fruitfulness.
“I join your family, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for His continued guidance, protection and provision for you in the past years of a life of forthrightness, outstanding patriotism and service to humanity with which He has blessed you”, he added.
